Terms for using RealGeniuses.

1. Operator and acceptance

RealGeniuses is a product and educational service operated by Book That Spot LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. These Terms form an agreement between you and Book That Spot LLC. By creating an account, purchasing a plan or practice pack, or using the service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy & Safety Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Parent and guardian accounts

You must provide accurate account information, protect your password, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. A parent or guardian may link to a student only through an authorized invitation, code, or other approved workflow. You may not search for, claim, or access a child who you are not legally authorized to support.

3. Student-linked information

Access to student information depends on the permissions associated with the student, parent or guardian, teacher, and school accounts. You may use student information only to support the linked student. You may not disclose another student’s information, interfere with school controls, impersonate another person, or attempt to bypass access restrictions.

4. Educational and AI-generated content

RealGeniuses provides supplemental educational tools, including content that may be generated or assisted by artificial intelligence. AI-generated material can contain errors or may not perfectly match a student’s curriculum or needs. Parents, guardians, educators, and students should review content and use appropriate judgment. RealGeniuses does not replace a qualified teacher, school curriculum, professional assessment, or individualized educational, medical, psychological, or legal advice.

5. Practice, scoring, and official grades

Parent-generated practice is supplemental. Practice results, automated scores, explanations, and recommendations do not change official school grades unless a school or teacher explicitly adopts them through an authorized school workflow. Teachers and schools retain control over classroom assignments, grading, and official academic records.

6. Subscriptions and one-time purchases

Prices, included features, billing intervals, generation limits, and any expiration terms are shown before purchase. Recurring subscriptions renew automatically for the selected billing interval until canceled. You may cancel through the available billing-management controls; cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless otherwise stated or required by law. One-time practice-pack credits are applied according to the description shown at purchase. Taxes may be added where required.

Except where required by law or expressly stated at purchase, completed charges are not automatically refundable. If you believe a charge is incorrect, duplicated, unauthorized, or connected to a service failure, contact support@realgeniuses.com so we can review it.

7. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the service; probe or circumvent security; upload malicious code; scrape or bulk-copy content; reverse engineer protected components except where law permits; use the service to cheat, harass, discriminate, or violate another person’s rights; or use generated material for unlawful purposes. We may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to protect students, users, the service, or legal compliance.

8. Your content and feedback

You retain ownership of information and materials you lawfully submit. You give Book That Spot LLC permission to host, process, reproduce, and display that material only as needed to operate, secure, support, and improve the service and fulfill your requests. Do not submit material you lack authority to use. If you voluntarily provide product feedback, we may use it without restriction or compensation, provided we do not publicly identify you without permission.

9. RealGeniuses content and intellectual property

The service, software, designs, branding, workflows, and original content are owned by or licensed to Book That Spot LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms provide a limited, personal, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended educational purpose; they do not transfer ownership.

10. Third-party services

RealGeniuses relies on service providers for functions such as hosting, email, authentication, payment processing, analytics, security, and AI-assisted generation. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy practices. Payment-card information is handled by the payment processor and is not intended to be stored directly by RealGeniuses.

11. Availability and changes

We work to keep RealGeniuses available and accurate, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed. Features may be updated, corrected, limited, or discontinued for safety, legal, technical, or product reasons. We will provide notice of material changes when reasonably required.

12. Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis without warranties that every result will be complete, accurate, or suitable for every learner. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded. You remain responsible for reviewing supplemental content and for decisions made using it.

13. Suspension, closure, and survival

You may request account closure by contacting Support. We may suspend or terminate access for material violations, fraud, security threats, unauthorized child access, nonpayment, or legal requirements. Provisions concerning payments, intellectual property, permitted records retention, disclaimers, and responsibility continue where their nature requires.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms as the service or applicable requirements change. The current effective date will appear above. When changes are material, we will provide appropriate notice and request renewed acceptance when required.
