🛡️ Privacy-first parent access
Parents can support learning without exposing student data.
Phase 1 creates the account and consent foundation. Future child linking will require approved invites or codes — not public student search.
No student data before linking
A parent account alone does not reveal grades, assignments, classes, or student records.
Permission-based access
School-connected data will only appear when access is approved by teacher, school, student policy, or invite workflow.
Consent records
Parent account creation stores a consent record version for privacy and terms acceptance.
No public child search
Parents will not be able to search for students by name or school and claim access.
What parents will not be able to do
- Change teacher grades
- Submit classroom assignments for a child
- Access class rosters or other students
- View teacher-only notes or grading internals
- Override school visibility rules
